So quite the treat we got here. Sinj would like to break his new album to this channel and the listeners around the world.
This is just a taste, a link will be dropped here tomorrow evening with a FREE ALBUM DOWNLOAD.
Very kind and generous of him. I'm very thankful for this.
Hello there!
I've recently finished recording and producing an album entitled "Music For An Italian Afternoon" ~ An album composed and arranged entirely by myself and featuring some pretty heavy Sydney jazz cats as well as a few members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra on strings.
This album draws its inspiration from Italian film composers of the 70's (Stelvio Cipriani, Piero Umiliani, and Pierro Piccione to name a few..) as well as some of the KPM Musichouse catalogue, and was composed in the framework of being a soundtrack to a film thats been lost to the ages (the film being the mythical An Italian Afternoon).
I'm playing Rhodes across the album, though the album itself is not composed to be solely a "Rhodes" album, nor a purist jazz album, and more an exploration of composition best enjoyed with Aperol Spritz somewhere along the Amalfi coastline..
