I met Irv's album about ten years ago. I have forgotten about it, but recently I've seen it twice on eBay auction. I got it out again.
Oh ... It's as good as if you forgot your old friend who is in a good mood and met you again.
I remember the first time I saw him. At first he seemed to laugh and look like a purely child on the cover. But the title is the opposite, " The Fiery Sounds Of The Newborn Sun", how wonderful the title was!
He liked it at once. Also, after listening to his music, I became more and more loving.
I think this is the power of sound. Even if you do not want to show something, you are naturally melted into each other and feel something to communicate with each other even if you do not say it. His voice whispering naturally and his sound catching the heat on the guitar.
It's Soooo. HOt !

Irv씨를 만난것은 10년 전 쯤으로 거슬러 올라가네요. 그동안 잊고 지냈는데 최근에 옥션에 두번이나 보여서 다시 꺼내 듣게 됩니다. 아... 맘이 잘 맞는 친구를 잊고 지내다가 다시 만난것 처럼 좋네요.
그를 처음 보았을때가 떠오르네요. 처음에는 커버에서 어린아이처럼 수수하게 웃고 있는 모습이 먼저 보였어요. 그런데 제목에는 반대로 이제막 태어난 태양의 사운드를 담아냈다니요. 제목이 얼마나 멋지던지 !!
그가 단번에 맘에 들었어요. 또한 그의 음악을 듣고 나서는 더욱 사랑하게 되었지요.
사운드의 힘이란 이런것이 아닐까 생각이 들어요. 무엇인가 보여주려고 하지않아도 저절로 서로에게 은근히 스며드는것. 그리고 궂이 말하지 않아도 무엇가 서로 통하는 기분.
나즈막히 속삭이는 목소리와 기타에 뜨거움을 담아내는 그의 사운드는 쏘..핫.!
