A jewel of a record - Latvian love and folk songs by two beautiful Latvian (or Latvian-American) blond teenagers, rendered in fragile, dulcet tones. One side themed "Up in the Hay," the other "Down Among Birches," with some truly ethereal and tremulous tracks. Paste-on sleeve to back. Gorgeous music, like a cross between Dayle Stanley and Jeanne Bichevskaya. A favorite record. Rare.
