STRANGELY THINGS I SAW on THE COOL BLUE FLAME | Oct. 26 | WFMU | Give the Drummer Radio | wfmu.org
This Thursday night (October 26), Halloween comes rattling back to the Cool Blue Flame for the final week of #hellraiser month at WFMU.
https://wfmu.org/playlists/UE
Please join me 10pm-midnight (EST @ WFMU | wfmu.org) for two hours of eerie soundtracks and suspense set pieces, hissing electronics, burnt offerings, creepy whispering, and an unholy blend of spectral rock 'n' roll, mysterioso exotica, and amateur theremins.
Also, on the SCREAM-O-SCOPE: a montage of apparitions, graves, dark hallways, phantasmagoric abstractions, and general gothic flotsam, with your host live-screaming snippets of ‘60s and ‘70s horror movies, and general spookiness.
It's all live on the COOL BLUE FLAME playlist page this Thursday. Cold winds, cobwebs, PG-rated fun!
A @little.dannys.records radio special for #hellraiser month at WFMU. Please donate! https://wfmu.org/playlists/UE
Shown, a preview of Scream-o-Scope synchrony: Moggi’s “Segnali Dal Passato” with a bit of John Llewellyn Moxey’s The City of the Dead (1960).
