Kay Weaver – Where Could You Be?
'Song poem' records are albums made up of songs written by members of the public. They paid to have a company record them with session musicians and singers and then press them onto vinyl. There are an untold number of these albums and singles and the majority of them seem to be undocumented and unknown. I wonder what the writer 'A, McGriffe' thought of this interpretation of their lyrics. I hope they loved it as much as I do. What a wild sound!
