Passports – A La Claire Fontaine / Aka Tombo
Two fragile, ethereal songs from this Massachusetts college singing group. Both are children's songs with surprisingly mature lyrics dealing with sadness and nostalgia. The French song is about a long lost romance and the Japanese song is about the yearning for lost childhood joy. Both are beautifully and hauntingly sung by the group.
