Haverford Junior High School Jazz/Rock Ensemble – Chameleon
It's fantastic that a lot of school bands tackled this Herbie Hancock classic and it's always fascinating to hear how different bands added their own flavour to it. Of course it's always most interesting when they really make it their own. This group of teenagers and their teacher/arranger turn in a super-loose, ultra-funky, wildly-groovy rendition with truly stellar solos and breakdowns. Dynamite!
