Dr. Fred Bell ~ Echo ~ Private Electronic New Age / Ambient PINA (USA, 1988)

Tonight Skull Valley brings you one from the farthest, deepest corner of the Universe. Dr. Fred Bell lived quite an extraordinary life; he transitioned from working on Project MK-ULTRA, to becoming a NASA scientist, to eventually developing his own Pyradyne structures to help disrupt the microwave radiation which he stated the government was using to control our emotions. He also passed unexpectedly after an interview with Jesse Ventura in which he stated "classified" material.

How much you choose to believe is entirely up to you, but it would be hard to argue that his story is not intriguing at the very least.

This album truly stands up to Bell's fascinating character. From the sounds of "real" UFO's, to Bell recitng prose on alien cultures, to the literal dozens of different synthesizers and drum machines, this one is truly considered one of my all-time favorite listens to start to finish.
