A jewel of a record - Latvian love and folk songs by two beautiful Latvian (or Latvian-American) blond teenagers, rendered in fragile, dulcet tones. One side themed "Up in the Hay," the other "Down Among Birches," with some truly ethereal and tremulous tracks. Paste-on sleeve to back. Gorgeous music, like a cross between Dayle Stanley and Jeanne Bichevskaya. A favorite record. Rare. Tonights cut comes from the deep, deep end of Disco 45's. This absolutely insane outsider burner comes from Nashville, circa 1978. Weird (almost folk / Rock) vocals combined with the killer disco / early boogie production makes this one a grail in my book! Enjoy!
