A Tribute To Mick Doughty – A Blue Room Family Original!

The Blue Room Family is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of another of our own. A true original, from the earliest of days, rest easy....Mick Doughty.

Memories of Mick at The Blue run deep. An essential, integral part of the beautiful chemistry that flowed within those walls. So much so, that 'The After Party' session at his place, defined the very phrase 'Back To Mine'.

Mick had stories....he had a lotta love to share, to give to those he cared about....and that was many of us. Someone you could talk to when times were hard, yet equally have the most amazing of party sessions to take us all to that happy place.

A smile, a laugh, a 'Doughty-ism', a quip, a tale. Mick was the definition of us and such an essential piece of our community.

Rave on, sunshine....dance with the angels.....we miss you, so so much.

Presented here is a selection of pictures, moments and memories of our beloved friend, set to a backdrop of music that Mick adored. The intoxicating soundscapes of Deep Trance.

Many of us aspire to be free-spirited... but some of us just are.
Rest in eternal peace, sweet lunatic x

Mick Doughty....The Thin White Duke of Hampton Court....you total Legend x

NB; The music featured in this tribute, is an edited version of segments taken from a wonderful DJ set originally by Michal Mick, linked to us by our friend Helena....please check youtube for the full, beautiful mix in its entirety.
