Track 02 from the EP two songs with drums
https://jamesphoney.bandcamp.com/album/two-songs-with-drums
UK 2022
From the description:
"i recorded these two songs a few years ago while working on my 'a little more than something' ep in prague. originally i imagined perhaps having them as bonus material as part of the release but they proved unruly beasts and they wouldn’t sit with the other newer, younger songs.
they were both written in the windy winter of 2016 - and released in super minimal form on my ‘it’s been a long year’ ep. i always intended to revisit them with a 'band' version and i’ve been sitting on these for the right occasion and it feels, with another spicy year coming to a close, that now is as right an occasion as ever to let them breathe.
there is a whispering of a 7” vinyl version being released. i’m no betting man - but if i was - i wouldn’t count on that ever happening since the bloke pertaining to release and organise it is insane … so we’ll see. if there’s one thing i do know - it’s that you never know.
happy new year
