Triple Scoop & Jam Cutta – He’s back ( Prime Kuts Records 1987 ) Hip Hop Los Angeles California
Well that's a super fresh and extremely rare one! It was in my want-list since ages. Last year I finally copped a copy, I was very surprised when I got it, as it was a white Label Pressing. Different from the Orange Label copy which features 3 Versions this one features only 2 Mixes, Vocal Mix on side A and Instrumental on Side B. In any case I guess this one's even rarer, at least I haven't seen a white label before. I can't say which one was first, maybe this was a kind of Promo copy. About the track, absolutely amazing Hip Hop 1987 style. It's out of L.A., but it definitely sounds like from New York. Dope Drum-Computer Beats in the Style of early BDP productions, amazing Breaks inclusive. Super dope Cuts and Scratches with an outstanding Rap. It's a "Freddy Kruger" theme, but definitely one of the doper ones, if you ask me the dopest "Freddy" theme! as mentioned above this record doesn't show up very often, if you get a chance to buy it .... you can't go wrong with it, doesn't matter which pressing! By the way, this Label have nothing to do with the other "Prime Kut" Label out of Canada, I mean the Label with the dope Electro & Hip Hop mixes, the Label you see here is out of Los Angeles CA. This record seems to be the only official Release by "Triple Scoop" and "Jam Cutta". Maybe they released more stuff under different Artist Names. I uploaded the full song, so check it out ... this jam is dope! Peace
