Mims is a former All-American track star. She took home the gold at the Mexico City Olympic Games in the 800m event in 1968 (peep that 'running for jesus' inscription:). She released a handful of albums from the mid 70s thru the 90s (and beyond?)

Nice, triumphant chord progression here, making me want to run up some stairs and pump a fist or two!! Golden digi-brass, tuff bass, and powerful vocals over tight electro-boogie programming. Mims lookin' boss in that fresh fit on the cover, like she's about to take names and kick some @sz, in the name of jesus (respectfully)...Solid 90s tape offering from this champion athlete turned family activist:)
