S.E.L. Heart Taker – Make Your Body A Slave
Ultra rare boogie from the same man behind The Coaster Clean U.S. Freemind Band, Sherman Latimer. Also maybe the first person to put an emoji in their name?
The flipside is an instrumental with a slightly different take.

Top Choice Def Jam Boyz – Cold gettin’ dumb ( Top Choice Records 1988 ) 7" Hip Hop Sound Sample Edit
Today a very dope one here, mega rare 7" only release ! In more than 30 years of collecting Records I have seen this one only 1 time! When I saw this 45 the first time I thought it must be a "Just-Ice" 7" re-issue or a bootleg, fortunately I was wrong. Incredibly dope Hip Hop Electro Rap tune, typical 87-88 Style! Drum Computer Beat, horror-stylish Melodies, cool old school cuts and scratches and an outstanding Rap by 3 young MC's. The Song have that typical Demo Flavor, by the way, there's a super dope Instrumental on the Flip-side! As you can see there are no infos on the Label, from what I can hear in the Rap the MC's are "MC Little E", "MC Jawn N" and "MC Noodle-Ski" + "Dj Kid Finesse" (no relation to all other same name Dj's). Seems that these guys were very young, I guess 14-17 years old. Also there is no indication of the Area where "Top Choice" comes from, but I can see from the Matrix-No that the record was pressed in Nashville at "United Record Pressing", the number also indicates that the record must be from 1987-1988. In any case it looks like it must be from the South. It could also be from Louisiana, the Label and the Cat-No "LSR-529" reminds me of "LSR Productions", mega rare Nola Hip Hop Label, in the early 90s they released some very rare and dope Records, who knows, maybe there's a relation. I recorded a long sound sample, the full song is 5:30 (longer than mentioned on the Label), in this clip you find 4:20, long enough to realize the dopenes! If anyone knows more about "Top Choice" aka "The Def Jam Boyz" aka "The Company Boyz", please comment! so check it out ... this Jam is dope, Peace
