鈴木高 [Ko Suzuki] – 夕日色のとき[In the Evening Glow]

A6 from 夕日色のときsplit album between 鈴木高 [Ko Suzuki] and 朱鷺 [Toki]
KO-1001
Japan 1978

Picture: Masahisa Fukase - Yohko, Sonorama Photography Anthology Vol.8 - 1978

"But there is no substance in the evening glow. It's nothing but a joke, a meaningless, but impressive joke of form and light and colour. [...] Evening clouds are an insult to anything symmetric, but such destruction of order is closely connected with the break-up of something much more fundamental. If the serene white daytime cloud may be compared to moral exaltation, then these riotous colours have nothing to do with morality. [...] In other words, evening glow is expression. And expression alone is the function of the evening glow." Yukio Mishima, The Temple of Dawn.

D-Watts – New Black Poetry 4 Tracks ( Jungle Rhythm Records 1991 ) Hip Hop Tamal / San Francisco CA

Obscure 4-Tracker here, kind of Speaking Words / Rap combination! 4 cool Track by "D-Watts" out Tamal California, the Tracks were recorded in San Francisco CA. In the clip you can see the original Vinyl Test Pressing and the official Tape Release! Indeed the vinyl is very rare, even the regular pressing doesn't show up very often, I don't think that they pressed many copies, I guess they mainly made tapes, the Cassette shows up more often! In this clip you find the 4 Songs, lightly edited, here the track-list of the Clip:

00:00 - 03:10 = What is Life
03:10 - 05:47 = Mommas on Crack
05:47 - 08:35 = The Message, Sisters on my mind
08:35 - 11:46 = New Black Poetry

that's not everybody's taste .... but it's definitely cool & different from anything else, so check it out .... Peace
