The Gimmicks – Acapulco Sunset

The Gimmicks were a Swedish band that basically did a wonderfully loose and intensely groovy take on the Sergio Mendes sound. They recorded this album while on a residency at the Las Brasas Hotel in Acapulco....which also inspired this fantastic original song. Wish I could have seen them there!
