Ultra lo-fi and moody loner psyche. Mr Redd felt the call of more trippy times and moved beyond the country vibes of his regular band The Reddymen to create this ode to a grooving hippy girl. He played both the bass and 12 string here to wonderful lysergic effect. The flip is also a trip…in a very different and much darker way. Seek it out.

PETER SYNC - A COUPLE OF ANGELS

I am finally able to share another song from Peter’s beloved EP, A Couple Of Angels.
Peter had no Christian background but a deeply spiritual one, which may have helped him cope with the psychotic episodes that marked much of his life.
After recording these five demo tracks, he became chronically ill.

A Couple Of Angels is my personal favorite. It’s heart-wrenching to bring both the music and the story of Peter’s life together, as he was an incredible writer. The clarinet beautifully played by his brother Spencer.
