Found this at a Value Village Thrift Store (RIP) on the north-side of St. Louis, MO back in 2017. There were about 30 copies and as i was collecting them up, one of the employees tapped me on the shoulder and said if i gave him 10 bucks, he'd put all of 'em out by the dumpster for me...

beyond my own gain, i respect a personal hustle, and am happy to distribute a little side-sauce whenever possible...so, sweating bullets, i slide him the dough and quite conspicuously shuffled out to grab grab the goods. All sealed, but at least half of them ended up being dished-out and unplayable...Such is life in the fast & dirty lane of record deals behind closed doors i guess...

Anyways, at the time, my channel partner said it wasn't cool enough for what we were trying to do, and he was probably right; But that cover is tough as nails, and this tune always stood out to me (transcendent harmonies dipped in gold). i ended up getting in touch with one of the sisters here in town and she invited me to her church. i never went, (because i wasn't sh!t), but i still think about dropping by every now and then, just to see if she's still with us...Maybe i'll send her the link...maybe next week;P
