Serge Ponsar – Back to the Light "Unreleased Dub" (Sterling Sound Acetate 1983) Synths Boogie Funk
This is something for the Synths Boogie Funkateers, this is a totally unreleased Dub Version of "Back to the Light" by "Serge Ponsar" (RIP). This Version is recorded from a 12" Mastering Acetate! On side A of this Acetate you find the regular Vocal / Album Version, to be true it's slightly different! It seems that this Acetate was planned to be released as 12" Single in 1983. For some reason that I don't know it never happened, it's a shame ... as this Dub Version is absolutely outstanding! For those who don't know it, the regular Album Vocal Version was also featured on the B-Side of the German 12" Pressing of "Out in the Night". I recorded a very long 5 Min Sound Sample of this unreleased Mix, the full Version is 6 Minutes, so it's long enough to enjoy, so check it out ... this Jam is fire! Peace
Serge Ponsar – Back to the Light "Unreleased Radio" (Sterling Sound Acetate 1983) 10" Synths Boogie
Special one here, this is an unreleased edited Radio Version of "Back to the Light" by "Serge Ponsar" (RIP). On Side A is the edited Radio Version of "Out in the Night". This is the Mastering Acetate of a 7" Single, seems that it was planned to be released as 45 ! In reality it never saw the light of day, instead of "Back to the Light" they put an edited Radio Version of "Gotta get outside" on the B-Side of the official 7" Release. I have no idea why they haven't released this one as well. Usually I don't upload full clips of unreleased Versions, in this case it's the full song .... so enjoy, it's not just shorter than the regular Album Version, it's also different ... so check it out, this Jam is fresh! Peace
