Today a real favorite of mine, this is the first Rap Record out of Atlanta Georgia, one of the first Southern Rap Records generally! "Space Rap" by "Danny Renée & the Charisma Crew". Super fresh from the first to the last Second! Amazing Music, cool Electronic Voice Intro and Outro ... and an amazing Rap by 3 male MC's and 1 female MC! "MC Divine", "Disco King", "Tu-Tu" and "Mary-Jane". Unfortunately "Space Rap" was their only Release, I would have loved to hear more stuff by this fantastic Rap Quartet. By the way, in the clip you can see the very rare black Label Pressing, I do believe that this one must be the first Pressing of "Space Rap", I haven't seen many copies in my life! Even the regular blue Label Pressing is very hard to get and pricy when it shows up! I recorded the full song, so check it out ... this Jam is fresh! Peace

World Logic Express – W L E ( Virtue Records 1984 ) Old School Disco Rap Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Fresh Philly Old School Rap by "World Logic Express" aka "W L E". Even the Record is from 1984 the Track sounds more like early 80s. If someone would have showed me this tune on Tape I would have guessed that it must be from 1981. Super fresh Disco Funk Music and dope Rap by 2 MC's. The name of one of the MC's could be "Reg". I have no idea what happened to this Group, this record seems to be their only release! In the Clip you see a rare Promo Copy, even the regular yellow Label Pressing is hard to get and highly in demand in the Old School Rap collectors World!
