Today a weird one! this one's a mega rare Gospel Rap 45 out of New York ! This record came out as 7" only! Mixed & manufactured by "Mitch Braithwaite", the same who released the Old School Rap Classic "Father Goose" in 1980 on "We-Four Records". This is the only known release by "Rev. G & A J Banks". It came out in 1988 on the private "CBG" Label. It's a really dope underground Gospel Rap, to be true it sounds older than 1988, more like 1986. From the Beats and from the Rappin' it have that typical "Schoolly D" flavor, you can definitely hear the influence!
Just a dope Drum Computer Beat, a cool Rap and some singing Gospel Vocals between the Raps. Definitely one of the fresher Gospel Raps, collectable 45! I recorded the full song for you to listen, so check it out ... this Jam is fresh ! Peace

This is the rarest Release on "Street Beat Records Inc", "Delmar International Records Inc," and "Street Jam Records", all these Labels were owned by "Delmar Donnell" himself! Mixed and engineered by the legendary "Patrick Adams". I have no idea why this Release is so rare, I have only seen 2 copies in my life, definitely hard to get! The tune is amazing, dope hard Electro Beats, cool Bassline and fresh Synths Melodies! The Rapping is cool ... the Background Vocals are by "The Community People", the same who released "Education Wrap". On the B-Side there's a dope Instrumental Version which is more a Dub Version! I recorded the full Vocal Version, so check it out ... this Jam is fresh!!! Peace
