Scrambled signals scattered from satellites, occluded by the dark side of the moon...
An obscure early release from Pete Namlook's monolithic Fax +49-69/450464 record label; it was one of the first full-length albums to be issued on the label, which had primarily been releasing 12" vinyls of techno and trance (particularly a Germanic style called hard trance or "the Frankfurt sound") prior to that time.
Like many of their releases it's something of an acquired taste and there's a lot of seemingly aimless meandering. It's a love/hate dichotomy dependent upon your level of patience for improvised electronic noodling.

One of many unclassifiable records from the immense archive of Pete Namlook's Fax +49-69/450464 label. Runs the gamut from dark ambient to pounding tribal techno. As well as the Outland project, Laswell and Namlook also collaborated under the moniker of "Psychonavigation", and Laswell also released a solo record ("Outer Dark") and recorded with Tetsu Inoue (as "Cymatic Scan") and Uwe Schmidt (as "Second Nature", also featuring Inoue) on the Fax label. Kinetic signals diffusing through biomechanical circuitry...
Cosmic ambience with hints of IDM, leftfield and dub techno stylings. Quite reminiscent of Vir Unis' more "percussive" material, which is fitting since they've collaborated several times, and in fact, Vir Unis actually produced this album. Enjoy! :)
