Ruffwood Arts – A4. Crazy Man Michael
This is the second post of this album.
They tried different genres, So Hard to describe the quality of this album - a few traditional folk tracks but then some stunning acoustic solo female vocals, but this song is probably the best song.
This song is a cover version of the Fairport Convention's famous " Crazy Man Michael", but it's more acidic and pure In my ears. Well organized and enjoyable with different feelings.
Also This is basically Swindlefolk under another name.
Bessie Long (joint lead vocals), Sandy Balmer (joint lead vocals, autoharp)
Dy Swindlehurst (occasional vocals), Sandra Pickersgill (occasional vocals)
Swindle Folk - 1968 A Rovin' (Deroy)

Reed Cheek – A2. Seeing
Red Cheek – 197? Red Cheek (Private, USA)
-------
Seeing rings of water falling dawn
Rivers underground didn't know
That you were leaving
when the summer grass had started bleeding
Hearing whispered laughter in a fallen stone
weeds now overground didn't know
That you were going
As the season's change still was not showing
Keeping time with shadows
Moving on the ground
Stepping stones that fade
Before you reach them
Trying to learn the tunes
That summer brought around
Didn't know that you
Could teach Them
Feeling flame of fire in the freezing cold
summer growing old didn't know
That you were falling
And I didn't hear when you were calling
---
I love this song. It is the lyrics of a beautiful poetic rhyme.
Originally released 1970 in the US on Armadillo .
Criminally underrated superb rural westcoast sounding prog/psych from Florida. On same label as the mighty Magic "Enclosed"

M.D.B. – B4. Lost Love
M.D.B. - 1976 Lost Love (Private, Japan)
It is surprising that there are many hidden private press records in Japan. If It have received 6 stars in the Pokora's 7001 Record,
Probably it would have been pressed within 100 copies. There is not much information about the group, but it is said to be a group from Kanagawa prefecture Hiratsuka. They are a group that plays hard psychedelic music of blues feel. Because it is from the group, the harmony of performance is comparatively good. The freshness of the music is declining, but it is also worthy of the fact that they all wrote the lyrics with songs.
